Northwood 1.0 | 1954
Architect: Ralph Haver AIABuilder: Rich Construction Company
Remodel: Adam McCallum in 2013 and current owners in 2015
Completion: 90%
Style: Contemporary Modern "Princess" Ranch This home’s original footprint has not been expanded at all, which is saying a lot for a Haver House! One selling feature was the family room living area connected to the kitchen, flowing out onto the patio, creating an open indoor/outdoor space to connect mother and child. The concrete floors are original, and the angled window wall beneath the eave is a classic Haver touch. Homes started at $10,950 and buyers in Northview had their choice of four different floorplans on this street on the edge of development. 12th Street used to end at the canal. The closest means to cross was at Central Avenue!
